MMA is focused on telling the story of manufacturing in Montrose. We want to create awareness of the amazing work and job opportunities that Montrose Manufacturers provide to our local community.

EMPLOYEE RECRUITMENT

With an emphasis on local talent, MMA seeks to attract and retain both skilled and unskilled local employees as determined by the articulated needs of local manufacturing companies.

NETWORKING

MMA exists to support one another as local manufacturing companies. We provide opportunities for input, site visits and after hours networking in order to help local manufacturers feel connected.

TRAINING

Local manufacturers have a variety of training needs including: regulatory, supply chain, simulation, LEAN, etc. By identifying common needs, MMA can provide collaborative training opportunities where multiple manufacturers can send representatives without having to shut down shop for an entire day.

EDUCATION

MMA is dedicated to its partnerships with CMU Montrose and the Montrose School District. Together, we determine the needs of local manufacturing companies and work with the local educational agencies to create educational programming for their students that meet those needs.

MMA enjoys strong partnerships with a variety of entities such as the Colorado Department of Labor and Employment, Colorado Rural Workforce Consortium, Manufacturers Edge - just to name a few.
